Greyfriars School visit East Sands
Greyfriars P1 (21st May, 2015) and P2 (4th June, 2015) came down to East Sands to explore the rock-pools and then take a closer look at a variety of marine beasties in the Gatty labs.

The Lawhead P2/3 children spent two mornings visiting East Sands and the SOI to learn about the animals at the seaside.

An evolutionary leap made at the bottom of the ocean over 500 million years ago gives new insights into the causes of human diseases such as diabetes, cancer and neurological disorders, according to newly published research from scientists at the Universities of St Andrews and Dundee.
